In a matter of weeks, a new boutique property will open its doors on the only tree-lined pedestrian avenue in Cape Town. Opening in March of 2019, Gorgeous George is a 32-room property in walking distance to V&A Waterfront and the remarkable flat-topped Table Mountain, and it’s just a 10-minute drive to the world-renowned Clifton and Camps Bay beaches. After days spent exploring the vibrant cityscape, guests can retreat to the rooftop bar and pool, where visitors and locals come together for good food, music, and a lively atmosphere. New additions in Mexico, Portugal, Canada & more

horizon-header-1

This month, we’re thrilled to announce the addition of a whole slew of new member hotels to our global collection. We can’t share all the details quite yet, but four new destinations will be added to the map, including Bacalar, a town in southeastern Mexico near the Belize border where we will soon welcome a low-density alternative resort; the village of Wellington on the shores of Canada’s Lake Ontario, where a converted 1880s-era country inn is one of our newest members; and Gonnesweiler, a German town on the French border where a wellness-focused lodge will introduce visitors to the beauty of Saarland’s Bostalsee lake landscape. We will also add a dramatic cliffside hideaway amid California’s ruggedly breathtaking Sonoma coastline, as well as additions in Istanbul, Stockholm, Toronto, and Porto.

Now the culinary event of the year is back, taking place for four days from June 15-18 at Parc Broekhuizen in collaboration with Design Hotels, with a spectacular culinary harvest that features master chefs from all corners of the world along with wine tastings, featuring a variation of unique Vins Naturels, orange wines and wines from Jerez, as well as an introduction to the top three rosé wines of the world.  Continue reading “23 Chefs. 31 Michelin Stars. 4 Amazing Dinners.”
